Leveraging OroCommerce to Streamline and Enhance Re-Bath's Franchise Operations
The Challenge
Re-Bath, a leading bathroom remodeling franchise, faced challenges with its aging web ordering system used by franchisees. The platform was limited in functionality, only compatible with Firefox, and lacked integration with their ERP system, Sage 500. Franchisees had no way to track orders once submitted, leading to increased manual work for Re-Bath’s Account Services team. Additionally, franchisees had to navigate multiple platforms to order from preferred vendors, complicating the purchasing process and increasing inefficiencies
The Solution
Re-Bath partnered with Lokion and Oro to implement a modern eCommerce platform that streamlined the ordering process and integrated seamlessly with existing systems. Lokion worked closely with Re-Bath to tailor a solution using the OroCommerce platform. The new portal is accessible across all browsers, supports custom product ordering, integrates with a Product Information Management (PIM) system, and provides robust reporting and analytics. Integration with Sage 500 ERP reduced manual intervention, improving data flow and accuracy. Features like self-service order tracking, multi-user account management, and access to comprehensive product catalogs significantly enhanced usability for franchisees and simplified daily operations.

The Result
Re-Bath quickly saw improvements with the new eCommerce platform. Franchisees reported high satisfaction due to its ease of use, improved visibility into orders, and reduced manual processes. The self-service features streamlined operations, enabling franchisees to independently track orders, manage accounts, and access product information. The platform’s flexibility allows for future enhancements as franchisee needs evolve, ensuring long-term value.
